Rental Terms and Conditions
Rental agreement: A signed order confirmation or the first invoice shall be valid as a rental agreement unless a separate agreement has been signed. The rental period starts at the date of delivery unless otherwise agreed. The rental period can be extended by phone, e-mail or fax. The rented item must be returned to Moab-Gruppen within three working days from the end of the agreed rental period. Otherwise a new rental period will start and the rent is extended automatically. If a confirmed renting is cancelled, a cancellation fee will apply (currently 20%). It is the responsibility of the client to acquire licenses for installed software (with the exception of Windows 95/98, unless otherwise agreed). Shipping and returns: Unless otherwise agreed, it is the responsibility of the client to pick up the item at the start of the rental period and return it to Moab-Gruppen at the end of the rental period. Moab-Gruppen also provides delivery and installation. These services can conveniently be ordered at the time of booking the equipment. Delivery inspection: It is the responsibility of the client to carefully inspect the equipment received. If anything is missing, damaged or has been delivered in error, this must be reported to Moab-Gruppen immediately, no later than the day after delivery. Otherwise the delivery is considered to have been approved through the signature of the delivery note. Technical service: During the rental period, technical service in our workshop is included at no additional cost. If the item is subject to an on-site warranty from the manufacturer, this service is also available at no additional cost during the rental period. Moab-Gruppen can also perform service on site at a normal hourly rate (no charge for spare parts). If faults occur through carelessness or misuse by the client, the client will be charged for repairs and shipping according to the applicable price list. Moab-Gruppen shall not be responsible for equipment or the rented item. Moab-Gruppen shall not be liable for downtime or loss of data that may affect the client, whether directly or indirectly. Phone support: During the rental period the client is entitled to free phone support concerning the rented equipment (working days: 8:30 AM - 4.30 PM). This support service is not intended to replace training or be used for general operating instructions. Moab-Gruppen provides other technical support and maintenance as separate services. These extra services are charged according to the applicable price list. Damages to the rented item during the rent period: If the rented item is damages during the rental period, or returned in an incomplete condition (e.g. no manuals, cables or packaging), the client will be charged for repairs or restoration according to the applicable price list. Damage or loss of items does not affect the client's obligation to pay the rent in full, nor does it affect any other obligations under this agreement. The client is required to notify Moab-Gruppen immediately if the item is lost or damaged. Insurance: It is the responsibility of the client to provide insurance for the item during the rental period. Terms of payment: Credit approved companies are invoiced. Payment is due within 10 days net unless otherwise agreed. If payment is not made in time, Moab-Gruppen reserves the right to collect the equipment and end the rental period. This does not affect the client's obligation to pay accumulated rent and any costs associated with the collection. Language versions: This English language version of the terms and conditions is provided as a service to the client. If at any point the English language version and the Swedish language version do not match, the Swedish version shall have priority.
